A discussion occurred regarding the bank auto pay for recurring accounts like Tampa Electric. The consensus was that since anything drawn on our checking account requires the signature of 2 officers, this option is not available to us.

The treasurer has 28 dues checks to be deposited to the account, which are consequently not included in the above treasurer’s report, and will be included in next month’s treasurer’s report.

WELCOME COMMITTEE

No report.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE

The ARC has received color swatches for approval prior to the painting of a house on Malletwood.

LANDSCAPING COMMITTEE

We replaced some lights at the front entrance sign. We previously used 100w bulbs. We are now installing only 50w bulbs. The affect seems to have reduced glare for oncoming cars.

 OLD BUSINESS

A discussion regarding parking at a residence on Peachwood. A homeowner wants to install a fence on the side of a house on Malletwood. The ARC is to look into this posibility.

NEW BUSINESS

Roberto is to call a prospective attorney the board can meet with at a later date.

It is reported that a go-cart rider has driven through the yard of a home on Sandywood and Malletwood to gain entrance to BayLife’s property.

It has also been reported that a car has been vandalized, street name of location not reported to the Association.

The board is to contact the County regarding overhanging trees on Seffner Valrico Rd at Lakemont Hills Blve. on the southwest side of the intersection. Cars have been striking the low-hanging limbs as they exit from the community going south. Also the board is to report low-hanging trees and limbs needing to be removed from trees on Seffner Valrico Rd at Front St. The board should contact homeowners who have trees or shrubs overhanging the fence of the community along Seffner Valrico Rd.

Emails:

We received an email from a homeowner on Sandywood who would like to work with the board for a payment schedule in order to pay the annual dues. We thanked the homeowner for offering to complete payments within a certain time period.

The date and time for the next meeting was proposed for Oct 3, at 7:00pm in the Brandon Recreation Center, we later reserved the room.
